Since it was created more than 70 years ago as the Pension Board, this ministry has followed the principle of stewardship identified by Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians:
This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.

Brethren Pension Plan has a built-in giving component that diverts 1 percent of employer contributions to a need-based program for current and retired employees of the Church and its affiliated organizations. Read more >

Denominational Dialog and Collaboration
BBT regularly partners with its sister agencies — Annual Conference, Bethany Seminary, Church of the Brethren Inc., and On Earth Peace — to ensure that we are serving the needs of our denomination while helping it to grow and prosper. Read more >
